We have developed a Career Path tool to enhance our Personal Performance Plan and Talent Resource Planning processes by facilitating a meaningful career dialogue between The Digital Group managers and employees. Our Career Path Development Tool includes:

  • Development Gap Analysis – to focus on development needs for future potential
  • Personal Development Action Plan – to plan to build on strengths and address areas for improvement
  • Position Success Factors – to identify key competencies, knowledge and experiences needed for leadership positions.

In addition to the The Digital Group Career Path Development Tool, educational opportunities are provided to our employees in multiple formats, including classroom and on-line training programs, on-the-job assignments, projects, feedback instruments and productivity tools.

Some of our employees participate in mentoring programs that ensure feedback and advice on career success. The performance support process encourages regular, ongoing feedback between the manager and the employee. We are dedicated to wider career path opportunities that enable our employees to transition to jobs outside of their current areas. Employee Benefits at The Digital Group

The Digital Group’s benefits program gives its employees the benefits that help employees grow personally and professionally and deal with the ever-present challenge of keeping their lives in balance.

(A) Health and life

a) The Digital Group Provides its employees with Mediclaim cover for self, spouse and Children with best insurance companies providing Health service and coverage of best network of hospitals across the country.

b) The Digital Group also provides Group Accident Benefit to its employees.

(B) Savings, Retirement Benefit and Tax savings plans

a) Gratuity: All employees are covered under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. Employees become eligible for Gratuity upon completion of minimum 5 years of continuous service with the company. Gratuity becomes payable at retirement or at the time of employee leaving the company if he/she has completed Minimum of 5 years of service.

b) Provident Fund: All employees are covered under Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Owing to the coverage under this, employees are in a position to save good amount of money every month. The company also adds its contribution to the employees provident fund account. The Provident Fund grows with the best available rate of 9.5 % and this also helps employee to save on Income tax as the PF contribution is exempt from Income tax.

(C) Time away from work

a) Privilege Leave: We all need some time away from work to rejuvenate ourselves and maintain our productivity. The confirmed employees are eligible for 2.5 days Privilege Leaves per month. The leaves go on accumulating at the end of every month. The unavailed leaves are encashed at the time the employee leaves the company at retirement or otherwise.

b) Maternity Leave: The female employees are allowed 12 weeks of Maternity leave to take care of pre and post delivery activities.

c) Paternity Leave: The male employees of the company are allowed to avail 7 days of Paternity Leave to be able to take care of the pressing family needs around the child birth.

(D) Work/life balance

a) Monthly Events: The Digital Group organizes various sports and cultural events every month to add spice to the work life.

b) Monthly Newsletter: Through the monthly newsletter employees not only get to know the latest happenings in the company but also get an opportunity to showcase their talent, art, various skills etc.

c) Wellness t The Digital Group: The Digital Group through the monthly news letter provides health education to all employees on how to take care of Body and Mind and to remain active to be able to give 100% to the duty towards the company, Family and society.

d) myBuddy events: The myBuddy events are aimed at improving employee bonding through small on the floor ice-breaker events and also results in improved employee communications.

a) Sponsorship for certification exams: The Digital Group encourages employees to appear for various technology certification examinations and add value to their own professional status and contribute to organizational growth in eventually.
