2021 Sees Digitalites Attend a Remote Session on Healthy Eating

In times of remote work, when most professionals around the world, especially across certain sectors, are working from home, managing their professional commitments and family time, there is very little scope to focus on staying healthy. According to the Harvard School of Public Health, "It is difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle when we are in the middle of a crisis like this. The uncertainty, and worries related to finances, childcare, elderly parents, and job security disrupt our routines, our lifestyles and mental health."

However, it is in critical situations like this that we need to focus on our health and make conscious decisions to eat healthy and stay fit. In order to help the Digitalites get the necessary professional guidance in their commitment towards eating healthy, The Digital Group organized a remote session ‘Eat Well on the Go!’ on 16th December 2021.

The session was conducted by Dt. Bhavi Panwar, a consultant dietician with 9+ years of experience in handling different lifestyle disorders. The session, conducted remotely on the MS Teams platform, focused on several key pointers on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the key ones are as follows:

Key Pointers

  • How to ensure a balanced diet
  • Planning ahead
  • Importance of breakfast
  • Choice of healthy snacks
  • Sticking to meal timings

In addition to the above pointers, the Digitalites also got the opportunity to learn about the significance of The Eatwell Plate – a guide to the right balance of the five key food groups.

The session witnessed attendance in large numbers as Digitalites were eager to discover good tips on healthy eating. The session was concluded with a Q&A session where the doubts of the attendees were cleared by the expert. The session is a reflection of the commitment of The Digital Group towards employee health and welfare.
