The answer to the question – Which is the most loved and watched sport in India? – unequivocally is CRICKET! Be it a yesteryear cricketer like Kapil Dev, a demi-god like Sachin, a firebrand like Ganguly, a caption cool like Dhoni or the current favorite, Cricket yogi – Kolhi, Indians have passionately followed and worshipped them all. And hence, it comes as no surprise that amidst the excitement of the young Indian squad beating England - the inventors of the game, the talented players of T/DG too were gearing up for their very own Digital's T10 Championships, 2017.

Within just a few days of the announcement by the HR team, the Pyramid building was abuzz with brilliant batsmen, bowlers, keepers and fielders from all departments coming together as teams and registering names. 10 teams made the cut in the end and the countdown began. 21st January and 4th of February were set as the dates for the clash of the titans and 11th February was the big finale. After a month of consistent net practices, the teams were ready for the showdown at Police Wireless Society Ground, Pashan.

Digital Hurricanes superseded all the other teams to top the table and become the champions of the Digital's T10 Championships, 2017, the runner up team being Digital Elites. Showering sixes and fours on demand was the much in form player Amit Shinde – also the Man of the Series. Other players on the winning side included - Mohan Joshi (C), Milind Gavade, Sharad Pathare, Avinash Marne, Rahul Jadhav, Sahil Malik, Nirav Shah, Sachin Desai, Girish Tajwe, Abhishek Verma and Shiv Jangid.

Digitalites were bowled over by all the splendid matches. The Digital's T10 Championships, 2017 ended on a high note with the prize distribution ceremony. Winning team was honored with the winning trophy and both the winning and runner up team were given gift vouchers, amidst cheers and claps by supportive cricket fans and colleagues alike!
