The Digital Group Achieves ISO 27017:2015 & ISO 27018:2019 Certifications
We are proud to announce that The Digital Group (T/DG) has successfully achieved ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019 certifications, further strengthening our commitment to implementing cloud-specific information security controls and focusing on protection of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) in public cloud services.
Why Do These Certifications Matter?
As organizations increasingly rely on cloud environments to power digital transformation, ensuring robust cloud security controls and protection of personally identifiable information (PII) has become critical. By achieving ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019, T/DG reinforces its dedication to implementing internationally recognized best practices for:
- Enhanced cloud-specific information security controls
- Protection of sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII) in public cloud environments
- Clear accountability between cloud service providers and customers
- Risk mitigation and secure data lifecycle management
ISO/IEC 27017:2015 provides guidelines for information security controls applicable to cloud services, offering additional implementation guidance beyond traditional security frameworks. ISO/IEC 27018:2019 focuses specifically on safeguarding personal data in cloud environments, ensuring transparency, data integrity, and customer trust.
Audit Details
The certification audit was conducted from 06th October to 10th October 2025, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM IST, by TUV India.
The audit team included Lead Auditor – Mr. Mahendra Salunkhe, along with Team Members – Mr. Girish Behere, Mr. Gangashankar Dixit, and Mr. Nitin Ghatge.
The audit covered multiple functions across the organization including: Software Development Team, Software Maintenance Project Team, Service Projects, SEPG, BDM, HR, Information Security (IS), and Administration (Admin).
Following the successful audit assessment, TUV India awarded the certifications, which are valid from 05.02.2025 to 04.02.2028.
Through these certifications, T/DG has demonstrated a systematic and proactive approach to securing client data, strengthening governance frameworks, and aligning cloud practices with global compliance standards.
