On the event of International Women’s Day (8th March), The Digital Group organized a Talk Show event. In these times of remote work, when connecting with employees for events can be challenging, the HR department of The Digital Group came up with a novel idea of a remote Talk Show on the MS Teams platform that witnessed several participants share facts and anecdotes from the life of the female achievers from our country who have inspired them.

While many of them let their oratory skills alone impress the audience, others had well-designed presentations and other creative ways to showcase the life and times of their favourite icons. The well-loved author and entrepreneur Sudha Narayan Murthy, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, the famous boxing champion Mary Kom, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Falguni Nayar (CEO of ecommerce giant Nykaa) are just a few of the names that were spoken about at the event.

The event was judged by the participants themselves, as they recorded their ratings for every other participant and shared the scoresheet with the HR. The results were announced the very next day and there were 3 winners who took home the prizes.

The Talk Show was a great opportunity for everyone to discover the lesser known facts about the many women achievers who have made our nation proud in diverse fields.
