At The Digital Group, we believe in celebrating the incredible contributions of women – not just on Women’s Day but every day! This year on Women’s Day, we hosted an exciting and heartwarming Women’s Day Celebration, filled with inspirations, fun activities and well-deserved appreciation for the amazing women of T/DG. With the theme of Purple & Pink, the entire office reflected the spirit of the occasion, creating an atmosphere of warmth and empowerment.

A Grand Start with Words of Inspiration

The event commenced with a powerful speech by our CEO, Aditya Sharma, who expressed his admiration for the women who effortlessly balance deadlines and daily life. He shared how his mother has been a guiding force in his life and even revealed that when he’s in US, he makes it a point to cook something special on this day. His heartfelt words resonated with everyone, setting the perfect beginning of the celebrations.

Breaking Stereotypes with Balloons

What’s Women’s Day without some thought-provoking yet fun activities? This interactive game encouraged women to break stereotypes – literally! Each Digitalites women wrote down a stereotype they wished to eliminate on a balloon and then popped it with enthusiasm. From “Women can’t be leaders” to “Women can’t drive,” the room was filled with the sound of bursting balloons and breaking barriers!

Guess the Mystery Word

Next up, we had an exciting guessing game where two female Digitalites teamed up – one holding a board with a mystery word while the other tried to explain it without saying the word itself. The energy, the laughs, and the weird interpretations made this game a true crowd favourite! The winners took home some amazing goodies as their prize.

Blindfold Challenge

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Draw the Bindi challenge. It wasn’t that easy that it sounds. A picture of an Indian woman was drawn on a clean whiteboard, and participants were blindfolded before attempting to place a bindi on her forehead. Some bindi placements ended up on the nose, chin, and even outside the face, leading to bursts of laughter from the audience! We distributed gift hampers to the winners.

Recognizing Dedication and Passion

After a day filled with fun and laughter, it was time to honor the women of T/DG for their dedication, hard work, and unwavering passion. Each woman was recognized for her invaluable contributions and received a token of appreciation in the form of flowers and goodies by Aditya Sir.

A Celebration Beyond Gender

What made this event truly special was not just the participation of women but also the enthusiastic involvement of men, showing their support and respect. Aditya Sir, in his closing remarks, shared how fulfilling it was to witness this unity and fun, reinforcing the idea that Women’s Day is not just for women but it’s for everyone who believes in equality and empowerment. All the Digitalites shared their experience and empowered women at T/DG!
